3rd year, 1st sem

Funny how time seems to fly by so slowly whenever we're waiting for the sembreak to arrive. . . The days that led to this much-awaited vacation seemed to drag on and on and on.... and ONNNNNNN.... hehe :D

But anyway, the sem is over, so here i am...blogging once more! :)

The 1st Semester of my 3rd year of College has certainly been the MOST tiring and MOST stressful sem so far...
Advanced Math, Advanced Stat, Mechanics and MatSci..wahhhh
This is now PART III of my "Things I Learned In College" blog! :D

This 3rd Year 1st Sem, I learned:
1. That Engr. Melchor rarely fails to give out homeworks. According to Dulce who started counting all of our homeworks from Day 1, the official count until the last homework Sir gave us was "Homework Number 30" !

2. That at 5% level of significance, there is sufficient evidence that Peter Cuizon is indeed an outlier from the rest of the class.
Where: n=the whole class,
with degree of freedom, n-1.hehehe :D

3. That there still exists teachers like Engr. Sanchez who gives the best, and easiest set of exams. Hence, our high grades in Thermodynamics. That and the fact that he makes up excuses just to give plus points to the class.
Sir: You are all present, plus 20 to the whole class!

4. That according to Sir Yap's words of wisdom:
"I'm going to tell you guys the fastest way to get rich!
For the girls, I advise you to marry rich, and fall in love later.
For you boys, I'm telling you to go panguyab na the nursing students who will soon be getting out of the country and earning dollars!"
HAHAHA..

5. Not to go home alone at night lest you end up with an oversized ankle. :D

6. That 40% of our daily allowance is being used for photocopying notes for Stat, MatSci, Accounting, the answer key of the Mechanics book, Peter's solutions for Advanced Math, and as reporters' handouts and test papers for Economics.

7.That being part of the enrollment staff is sooo cool! You get to enroll yourself before everyone else, which means you get to be advised and encoded at ease. Best of all... You don't have to fall in line! :D
* hello to partner-in-crime Sheng! :)

8. That it is possible for us to get a correct answer in our Advanced Math exams even if we get the solution wrong, considering the fact that after a semester of Mam Fuentes' gruelling class, we can now memorize the questions, their answers, and even the corresponding graphs of the problems in Spiegel and Rainville.wahaha

9. That the happiest day of our 3rd year 1st Sem lives was that one Tuesday when we saw the post that said we had no class in Accounting AND IeElec Lec! Ahhhh... :D

10. That the most cooperative times of our lives is during MWF's on the break before Economics class, where certain three different people each week give out what the rest of the class wants to know. *wink wink*
HAHAHHA :D

11. (cont. from #10) That ma buking jd ta ba when Sir checks the final exam, and wonder why we get low grades on exams he makes, and perfect in exams that reporters of the week make. :D

12. That I have three jeepney buddies, plus one CR buddy! hahahaha

13. That "peteranswers" is a hoax! And that Philip is the best actor, because he was able to deliver his peteranswers testimony without once smiling and giving himself away. Idol Philip!hahaha

14. FD's spaghetti is still the best, though Kawin's tacos and Jane's softbatch are competing closely. And so is Mama's breadpan. :D

15. That in our Advanced Math class, and applicable in all classes handled by Mam Fuentes only... "fi" is equal to "pi" and is equal to 3.14159265358979323846... :D

16. That I don't need to buy the very large and very stuffed pizza in Sbarro. They offer a white cheese pizza which is considerably cheaper than the stuffed one. You just have to buy their tomato sauce which they sell for 22 pesos... Then you mix! Ahhh..lami na au!hehehe :D (wa lang, just had to tell you guys.hehehe)

17. That Sir Gimena and Cinco make the cutest loveteam.HEHEHEHEHE.

18. That the most difficult times are when we have seatworks in Advanced Math and there are only minimal problems to choose from, and you have to make sure you don't pick the same number with the person sitting at you back, your left, your right, and your diagonals, or it's minus 50%.WAHHHHH!

19. To drive an automatic car, and I have the video in FD's phone to prove it. Thank you Jane for letting me try and drive. :)

20. To always check my phone in case my brother (now in first yr college..uuyyy.haha) again leaves his keys inside our locker and texts me to open it so he can take his books out!

21. That siomai at Ricardo's is cheap if they are celebrating their anniversary!!! :)

22. All the hotkeys of Microsoft! ...memorized in alphabetical order.wahahaha

23. That Accounting tests are the most exhuasting, Stat tests are the most rare, Advanced math tests are the most pressuring, Economics tests are the most tricky, Mechanics tests need the most analysis, and MatSci tests are the tests we pass only if we are LUCKY enough to pick the right schedule that holds the easy set of the exam. :(

24. That if you have no idea how you are going to solve the figure in your Mechanics exam, you just have to draw the trusses and the hinges artistically and solve one Moment, and Sir will pity you and grace you with a few mercy points.heheheh :D

25. Lastly, that Tuesday is the best day of the week because we have a three-hour break, AND are dismissed by 1:30! :)

1st Sem is over, next sem na sad!
No kidding, pas2x jud ang time bsta vacation.wah! See you guys enrollment! :)
